NOsquito Bites™ patches offer desperately needed full-time protection that can help aid workers, volunteers, and African children. When used in conjunction with treated bed nets, they could make a significant impact on the cycle of infection that has ravaged Sub-Saharan Africa. We are dedicated to implementing a simple solution to the world serious insect borne disease problems.
Research has shown that Thiamin (Vitamin B1), the key ingredient
in NOsquito Bites™ patches, actually helps repel insects such as
mosquitoes and flies. The thiamin-based formulation of NOsquito Bites™
patches works with the body's own chemistry to create an invisible protective
barrier that shields the user from mosquitoes and other biting
insects. NOsquito Bites™ patches contain no potentially adverse effects
on health, they are totally safe and approved for use in children as young as
one year of age. Within two hours of application mosquitoes and other insects
can no longer detect the carbon dioxide that leaves the body, and do not like
the smell of the Vitamin B1 excreted through the sweat glands and will not
attack. This effect lasts for thirty- six hours, and will work up to twelve
hours if removed prematurely after the first twenty four hours.
